"My husband and I are finally throwing a party for our 5th wedding anniversary- we never had a wedding. So I was looking for something classy, elegant, but definitely without breaking the budget! My invitations came out beautiful, the quality was great, had no problems with the printing templates. "I was a little hesitant about ordering DIY invitations for such an important occasion. I have always been semi-crafty but not so much that I was completely confident. I ordered the pocket folder invitaion pack in Sapphire shimmer. Other than my dress this was probably the best wedding purchase I have made. They came out so beautifully. I gave the finished product to my future husband and he teared up. They were perfect. The templates that are provided are exactly what you need. Guilty pleasure--- my future sister-in-law came over and oogled over them. How we are so luck to afford such beautiful invitations. It took a new cartirdge of ink, a printer that I had from college and Wedding Bell Invitations. I received them 5 days after I ordered them with standard shipping. How do Pocket Folder Invitations work?

The pocket folder invitation kit comes as a package of separate components that you print and assemble yourself at home. The basic kit comes with the outside pocket folder cover in your choice of 15 great colors. Plus you get to choose your own ribbon, so you can totally customize the kit to your colors.

Then there is an Invitation Card that comes blank (either white or cream cardstock) plus an RSVP set (your choice of Smooth or Embossed finish). Plus the envelopes, the mailing envelope and the RSVP envelope. All you need is an inkjet printer.  We make it easy for you by providing you with free printing templates so you don't have to figure out the formatting on Microsoft Word. All you do is download the template from our site, open it up in Word, change the wording to suit and then print! It really is that easy.

If you want to make it more elegant still, you can add pictures, scrolls, clipart, borders. You can change the font color, and the border color. You can add a watermark behind the invitation using Word. You can get a very nice effect adding a monogram to our vellum overlays or a picture of the two of you. You can even print the invitation on the vellum itself and put a photo on the invitation card. We have seen some wonderful creations from many of the enterprising couples that have used our products over the years!

Another way to add some extra elegance is to use a Backer Insert behind the invitation card. This is a colored backer that creates an interesting frame effect that shows off the invitation card beautifully. If you need extra cards for Directions, Wedding Venue details, Hotel information for guests, Wedding menus, Gifts or donations, etc. we have two different sizes of Directions Cards.
